Marriage Equality Just Passed In New York
With a vote of 33-29, the New York State Senate just passed marriage equality. Along with the already passed vote in the State Assembly, and Governor Cuomo's anticipated signature, marriage equality will become law in the state of New York. It's the 6th and largest state to have passed same-sex marriage. We've just witnessed history in the making. Congratulations to all LGBT people in New York and to all of the people in New York. Everyone wins because everyone is now equal!
