Don't Ask, Don't Tell Turns 16 Today

Today marks a very significant anniversary, although not a good one. The U.S. military's anti-gay policy, Don't Ask, Don't Tell, was signed into law 16 years ago today by President Clinton. This policy prohibits gay and lesbian service members from disclosing their sexual orientation or face the consequences of being dishonorably discharged.

The Human Rights Campaign sent out an email urging everyone, that supports over-turning this discriminatory policy, to send a message to Congress TODAY urging them to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

In case you didn't receive the email or haven't sent your appeal to Congress yet, please follow the link to Voices of Honor to fill out a simple form and send your message.
