Gay marriage activist, Charlotte Robinson, is an Emmy Award winning producer and director. She created OUTTAKEonline.com to showcase her acclaimed short"OUTTAKE" which is currently being developed into a full length documentary. Charlotte produced "OUTTAKE" to educate & defuse the gay marriage controversy.
Earlier this year I featured a post where Charlotte had been interviewed by conservative talk show host, Tom Fredriksen of Old Glory Radio. To listen to that surprisingly positive interview you can link to it here: Pro-Gay-Marriage Film Producer Interviewed on Conservative Talk Radio. Before you do that, you might also be interested in knowing that Charlotte recently posted an article at Huffington Post.
Charlotte has begun a new series of interviews with LGBT community leaders and their allies. Check out her interview with GLAD, Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders. It is a timely exchange with the executive director regarding the gay marriage debate and its impact, or lack thereof, on this year's Presidential election. What does this mean for the advancement of gay rights? You can link to her blog on Huffington Post here to make up your own mind: Candidates' Silence On Gay Marriage Shows A Growing Acceptance Of It.
Also take the time to listen to this October 3, 2008 audio interview between Charlotte and GLAD's executive director. As GLAD celebrates their 30th anniversary this year, all of us in the gay community owe a debt of gratitude to this organization for forging a path in the fight to obtain equal rights.
